GEORGETOWN, Texas — The Caring Place, a Georgetown-based nonprofit serving neighbors in need since 1985, is notifying the community of upcoming closures at its thrift store locations in July.
Wednesday, July 1 — Stores Closed for Annual Inventory
On Wednesday, July 1, The Caring Place will close its thrift store locations for annual inventory. The following locations will be closed:
- The Shops at The Caring Place
- Second Helping
The following services will remain open and operating as usual on July 1:
- Donations Drive-Through
- Programs & Services
- Food Pantry
Clients and community members in need of food assistance or other services are encouraged to visit as usual on July 1.
Saturday, July 4 — All Locations Closed for Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, all Caring Place locations, including thrift stores, the donations drive-through, Programs & Services, and the Food Pantry, will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Regular operations will resume the following business day.
The Caring Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping neighbors in need in the Georgetown, Texas area since 1985. Through its thrift stores, food pantry, and wraparound programs and services, The Caring Place provides vital support to families and individuals throughout the community.
