A Matter of Taste Florist Is Moving to a New Home in Georgetown – Opens April 20, 2026

After 40 years of serving the Georgetown community from their current shop, A Matter of Taste Florist is embarking on an exciting new chapter. The popular local florist has announced it is officially relocating and will welcome customers to its brand-new space on Sunday, April 20, 2026.

The new shop will be located at 1603 Northwest Blvd., Bldg. B in Georgetown.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the team at A Matter of Taste reflected on what their current location has meant to them and the community. “While we’re so excited for what’s ahead, it’s hard to say goodbye to a space that has held so many beautiful moments, celebrations, and memories with all of you,” the shop shared with followers.

A Matter of Taste is much more than a flower shop. The female-owned and operated business specializes in custom floral arrangements and plants for all occasions, from weddings and corporate events to everyday celebrations. Their storefront boutique also features a curated selection of Texas-made gifts, including local art, clothing, chocolates, wine, and more. Four decades of that kind of care and craftsmanship will continue at the new address.

The shop is encouraging customers to stop by the current location over the next few days to say hello, pick up some fresh blooms, and celebrate the transition together before the doors close for the final time.
