On Friday, January 6, the Georgetown Public Libraryβs Adultish program will host a seminar focused on urban and rural homesteading.
βExplore the ideas that can make your urban homestead possible-taking the lay of your land and seeing what you can grow, where you can grow it, and how to make the best of what you have,β according to the Georgetown Public Library. βLearn how to sow and save seedlings, dehydrate herbs for tea, or make fruit leather using a dehydrator.β
The free workshop will be taught by Claudia from In Harmony Gardens, is open to adults ages 18+ and will be held at 7 PM. No registration is required to attend.
