Georgetown, TX β The Downtown Georgetown Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the highly anticipated Boo Bash event scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, October 29th. The cancellation comes in light of weather forecasts that raised safety concerns.
In an official statement, the association said, βDowntown Georgetown Association, Georgetown, TX has decided to cancel Boo Bash tomorrow due to weather and safety concerns. We are extremely bummed, but want to make the right decision for the community.β
Although the Boo Bash wonβt be happening as planned, the association has made it clear that itβs not all bad news for families looking to celebrate Halloween in Georgetown. Local businesses in the Square will still be handing out candy tomorrow. Details about which businesses are participating will be released soon.
