City Hosts Summer Employee Hiring Event May 4

The City of Georgetown will host a seasonal hiring event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Georgetown Recreation Center, 1003 N. Austin Ave.

The event will feature free snacks, drinks, and giveaways, as well as on-site applications, interviews, and hiring opportunities. The Parks and Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards, swim instructors, camp counselors, tennis camp instructors, and an adventure camp specialist.

Pay ranges start at $12.50. Other benefits include flexible schedules, free membership to the recreation and tennis centers, free summer pool passes, paid certifications, and growth opportunities.
