The public is invited to come enjoy the 2022 Soiree!
“One night. Thousands of children helped. That, in a nutshell is what the Soirée is all about,” according to the event website. “Three local nonprofits will be joining forces once again to present the 6th Soiree – A Coming Together for Kids. We know you won’t want to miss the opportunity to support these outstanding organizations!”
Soiree 2022 will be benefitting:
- The Georgetown Project
- Boy and Girls Club of Georgetown
- Georgetown Family YMCA
The event is scheduled for April 9 from 5 PM to 10 PM at the Sheraton in Georgetown.
“Soirée guests will spend the evening visiting ‘The Golden Age of Hollywood’ at the beautiful Sheraton Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center, Saturday April 9th,” according to the organizers. “This collaborative fundraising event will feature dining, dancing, entertainment, silent auction, raffle and games. Emcee Chet Garner will take us through an evening of fun with The Arthur Murray Dancers and Bubba and the Train Wreck Band playing popular jazz and big band pieces from the Golden Age era.”
Tickets and tables are available by visiting soireewilcotx.org. Every dollar raised for the event will benefit The Georgetown Project and the Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown, and the Silent Auction proceeds will benefit the Georgetown Family YMCA, who is this year’s Junior Partner.
