TheKey2Free is working to abolish sex trafficking through education, awareness and aftercare of survivors, both domestic and abroad.
Education and Prevention:
It is crucial that we educate youth and adults about the dangers associated with sex trafficking, through youth groups and community presentations.
We also offer prevention classes to at-risk youth. Through Shared Hope International’s Defenders program, we educate boys and men about their part in fighting the demand against sex trafficking.
Awareness and Survivor Advocacy:
Each year, laws to fight human trafficking are defined, expanded on and created in order to enhance the state and country’s ability to combat domestic sex trafficking.
Policy is an important aspect of this cause, and it is our desire to remain informed on new laws of trafficking that are implemented each year so we can continue to advocate for survivors and their rights.
Aftercare and Mentoring:
Our non-residential program is for survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Our mission is to inspire, encourage and empower survivors through case management, mentoring, counseling, life skills classes and job training.
We also have trained mentors ready to work with survivors and at-risk youth in individual and group settings.
Rescue and Recovery:
We are dedicated to the rescue of girls trapped in the sex industry and do what we can to assist in locating and alerting local law enforcement as to their whereabouts.
