GEORGETOWN, TEXAS — A new business just off the Square is bringing fresh energy to downtown Georgetown. Root to Rise Plant Shop, located at 1005 Rock Street, offers a curated blend of indoor plants, handmade goods, local art, and a coffee bar, all in one cozy yellow house.
Owner Megan Nance created the shop as a peaceful escape after years working in high-stress environments. Inspired by how plants helped her stay grounded, she dreamed of building a space where others could connect with nature and community.
Root to Rise is more than a plant shop. Alongside greenery, visitors will find handmade jewelry, vintage finds, a custom hat bar, and goods from local artists and small businesses. Out back, Rose & Dagger Coffee Co. offers a shaded outdoor café experience. The Backyard also hosts regular workshops and community events, making it a welcoming space for connection, creativity, and calm.
