After more than two decades working as a paralegal, Amber Torres was ready for a change. “I was feeling in a rut and wanting to do something different,” she shares. That shift came unexpectedly one day while scrolling through social media. She saw a video of someone performing laser tattoo removal and instantly knew it was the new path she wanted to take.
Within an hour, Amber had found where to take classes and got herself enrolled. Her goal from the beginning was clear: get licensed and open her own clinic as soon as possible. It took three years of working as a technician for someone else before she had the chance to make that leap. Last month, she opened Fractured Pigment right here in Georgetown.
Located inside Salon Lofts at Wolf Ranch Shopping Center, 1019 W. University Ave., Suite 310, Fractured Pigment offers tattoo and permanent makeup removal as well as treatments for freckles, sunspots, age spots, and melasma. Amber also provides carbon facial peels for skin rejuvenation.
