The Caring Place says they are working to be fully re-opened by the end of summer!
“We are joyously skipping towards the end of the storm created by the pandemic, and how it has impacted our services to the community,” Ginna O’Connor, Executive Director at The Caring Place wrote. “You will be pleased to know, we are full steam ahead, hoping to offer a full reopening by the end of the summer. That’s huge!”
Beginning immediately, appointments are no longer required to shop at the organization’s Second Helping location, which is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Masks and social distancing are required at both Second Helping and The Shops at The Caring Place.
Also, as part of their reopening efforts, O’Connor said they are planning additional surprises including redesigning and improving their existing food pantry and pricing space.
“These long desired improvements will allow us to create a more efficient workflow as we transition into post pandemic services and operations,” O’Connor said. “We are giving you a heads up because the work that needs to be done may impact our ability to be open on certain days in the next few months.”
