The Georgetown Public Library and the Native Plant Society of Texas will be hosting a plant giveaway with registration open from April 16 – April 23.
“Register for TWO free plants from the Georgetown Public Library and the Native Plant Society of Texas,” according to the event description. “These are drought tolerant native plants and all locally grown!”
The plans available this year include:
- Lemonbalm
- Maximillian Sunflower
- Mexican Hat
- Plains Coreopsis
“Plant selection is randomized,” the event description stated. “Plants are limited, so please only register once. Registration is free and open to the public.”
Plant pick up will take place starting April 24 for those who have registered. Register starting April 16 by clicking here.
Well, Here it is April 16th and the the link says the plant giveaway is listed as SOLD OUT…..Kinda sucks.
