The City of Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back its Live on the Lawn music series this summer.
The monthly event in May, June, and July will feature local musicians in an intimate outdoor setting on the lawn at Garey House. Doors and food and beverage vendors open at 6 p.m. Music is from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are free for children age 9 and younger and $5 for people age 10 and older. Pre-registration is required for people age 4 and older. Registration for each event opens on the first of each month, with the first registration opening May 1.
The band schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, May 29: Second Hand Rose Band
- Wednesday, June 26: Home at Last
- Wednesday, July 31: Not Past 11
