July 9, 2025 (Georgetown, TX) – For the rest of July, local independent pet stores in Georgetown Texas are getting together to help Flood Victims and their animals. Tail Waggins Bakery, Woof Gang Bakery, Pupology, and Wag Heaven are showing their hearts and love for the surrounding animals.
They are offering their stores to be drop-off stations for donations, to assist pet owners and pets impacted by the July 4th flooding in Central Texas. They are all working closely with the Kerville and Williamson County Regional Animal Shelters.
Each store will offer discounts for purchased pet foods, supplies, and treats to be donated for the causes. Each store is also working closely with their respective distributors and manufacturers for extra support and increased donation opportunities.
“This has been an emotional week for me” said Neeley Simmons, owner of the Woof Gang Bakery. “A Woof Gang groomer in Austin lost her brother, sister and step mom, and I also have several friends who had grandkids at Camp Mystic.” “It’s devastating and such a heartbreaking situation” continues Janet Cesarini, owner of Pupology. “We have to help.”
“We also need to help those affected locally as well,” says Jeff Manley of Wag Heaven. “Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and All Things Wild Rehabilitation are taking in so many animals from all over.” “We just want to make pets and pet parents happy and healthy,” Diane Hamar of Tail Waggins Bakery adds.
Along with the discounts, each store will also be donating percentage of their sales, to further help.
