The Georgetown Beard Club, a local nonprofit organization, hosts a weekly downtown Square cleanup every Saturday at 8 a.m. Participants meet at Gold Burger Diner.
The group holds cleanups every Saturday. Excluding Saturday during Red Poppy Festival and Christmas Stroll weekends.
This Saturday’s cleanup falls on Valentine’s Day. Bearded participants have been encouraged to dress more formally than usual for a photo opportunity during the cleanup.
