The following by the City of Georgetown, Texas
The City of Georgetown is hosting a riverbank cleanup event from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. March 24 at Rivery Park, 1125 Woodlawn Ave.
Free public parking will be available in the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center garage, located at 1101 Woodlawn St.
During the event, trash bags and gloves will be provided, along with light snacks and drinks for volunteers.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing such as long pants, hats, and sunglasses, along with comfortable closed-toe shoes.
Individuals interested in volunteering can email MS4Operator@georgetowntexas.gov to register. Volunteers must fill out a waiver to participate, which can be signed at the event.
The cleanup event may be canceled in the case of bad weather. Updates will be shared on the City’s Facebook page.
