GEORGETOWN, TX — Georgetown Independent School District officials are monitoring local weather conditions and preparing for the potential of inclement weather this weekend.
At this time, all school operations will proceed as scheduled on Friday, January 23, including after-school extracurricular activities.
All activities scheduled for Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, are canceled or will be postponed.
The district stated it will share an update over the weekend regarding any possible changes to Monday’s schedule.
Families are encouraged to take the following steps to stay informed:
• Review inclement weather procedures at www.georgetownisd.org/weather
• Update contact information in Skyward, which syncs with ParentSquare within 48 hours
• Check personal notification settings in ParentSquare and consider downloading the ParentSquare app for push notifications
