The Georgetown Public Library is hosting a kitten adoption event with the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 6 at the library, 402 W. Eighth St. Attendees are invited to have a meet and greet half hour with kittens starting at 11 a.m. Adoptions will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until the event concludes. Kittens are spayed or neutered and come with their first round of shots.
The charge for adoption will be $35. Kittens will leave the event in temporary carriers and go directly home with their new families. All proceeds benefit the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. For more information, visit georgetowntexas.gov/library.
