September 25, 2023 GEORGETOWN, TEXASΒ βΒ The Bridges Transition Program for 18+ is excited to announce the grand re-opening of the Bridges Boutique on Wednesday, September 27 at the Carver Center for Families, previously the old Carver Elementary School, located atΒ 1200 W. 17th StreetΒ in downtown Georgetown. The Boutique features hand-crafted works of students enrolled in the program and serves as a job site for students who are learning enterprise-level skills as they transition from high school to a more independent adult life. Visitors to the shop will find handmade candles, sugar scrubs, pot holders, aprons, jewelry, journals, greeting cards, t-shirts and more. The community is invited to the grand re-opening on Sept. 27 at 10 am. Students will be serving coffee to enjoy while you shop. The first 25 customers will receive gift cards for 50% off one item on their next visit to the boutique. Following the grand re-opening on Wednesday, hours for the Boutique will be: Wednesday – Friday, 9:30am-1:30pm (closed 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch) Cash and cards are currently accepted at the Boutique.
